This was exactly what I needed for a one-month trip abroad and I used it a lot. Basically the bag weighs nothing so you are carrying just the contents. The backpack straps were comfortable. Unfortunately the stitching came undone on one of the seams early on. I could still use the bag but it didn't inspire confidence. The daisy chains are not usable and the compression straps were not close enough
