I purchased this winter jacket in anticipation of our first Northern Minnesota winter. We've already gotten some snow and below-freezing temps, and the SnowFlyer beat the elements. The texture of the fabric is soft, not the stiff fabric often found on waterproof outdoor gear. The zippers are smooth. I did buy it in white, which is all that was available, and do worry about my ability to keep it cl
