This tent is just great for car camping. We recently used it in Death Valley. Conditions were extreme wind. Some rain. We did stake it down well. But it really has a great profile for the harsh desert winds. Other tents were not fairing well in our car camp. But the Peregrine was solid. I was impressed with the seams and overall construction. We are backpackers and used to high quality tents and this one really stood up well. The two doors and ventilation were also super.
