High quality , easy to use

I bougth this new petzl actik core 600 to replace my old actik core 450, The older version is really good and I used it for more then 5years and it is still in good condition. The new one is almost the same but it is brighter.

  • A bit expensive

  • hiking , trekking

Really bright headlamp

I often walk my dog at night and do not have sidewalks.. I love this super bright headlamp so any cars can easily see me and my dog. Yes, the high beam does exhaust the battery faster, but it recharges and is good to go. I probably will need to get a new battery, with the way I use it, but small price to pay for the high visibility for both me and vehicles.
Pros:
  • very bright high beam
Cons:
  • may need new battery sooner using at high beam so much
Best Used for:
  • whatever you need to have varying brightness, to include a really bright high beam
