Paul D.'s Review of Primus Camping Litech Coffee/Tea Kettles with Net Stuff Sack
I bought a GSI kettle after reading the reviews online and contemplated the MSR Kettlist. The GSI pot is great for a patrol box or car camping, but the bail handle is made of wire and pokes into other (non-stick) pots and backpacks. You can overcome that with a cozy, but you shouldn't have to. The Kettlist is just too small and I definitely prefer the handle on the LiTech. Really, the design is perfect it's flat design has a lower center of gravity and a wider base to help keep it from tipping over on a backpacking stove. It also lies fairly flat in the outer pocket of my backpack. And, well it's a proper teapot. It is super efficient at boiling water. And, it feels like it has a non-stick coating inside if you decide to cook in it. I use mine exclusively for water and find that you also need a small skillet to fry American style (Spam & eggs). If you just want Mountain House meals, just throw a Pocket Rocket inside this pot and carry a big fuel cylinder. That's all you need for a 3-day pack.
