Really warm jacket- zippers not reinforced! - Rab Electron Jacket - Women's

Upon receiving this jacket I was really excited! As a 5'6" 135lb woman with an athletic build it fit me perfectly! The sleeves were long enough and the perfect length and the entire jacket had a nice flattering fit that wasn't too bulky. I skied in it a few times in less than 10 degrees and it was cozy warm! The hood fit perfectly over my Smith ski helmet and the tail of the coat covered my bottom and didn't slip up. The coat overall, was very flattering to my figure and not too bulky, which is the case with most 800 filled down jackets. I didn't feel like a marshmallow!!

After wearing the coat a few times per week for 3 weeks the front right zipper broke. The teeth completely fell off in 2 spots and the zipper became stuck. The zipper quality is definitely poor on this jacket and they are not reinforced like other jackets in its class (ie. Patagonia, Arc-Teryx, Marmot, etc.) I was completely bummed out because I LOVE this jacket. Other reviews mentioned dificulty getting used to the Europeon style of the zipper but that didn't seem to bother me at all.

I sent it back to Campsaver and they sent me a pre-paid shipping label and said they would give me 100% credit towards a new jacket. Campsaver was understanding in that the jacket was defective and very easy to work with! I really wanted to purchase another RAB but I'm not going to because I'm afraid I'll experience the same issue with the zippers.

RAB- you have a wonderful product- the zippers just need to be reinforced and shown a bit more love! Please make this improvement which is necessary for an alpine jacket, as you are advertising.
