Cold hands are my problem area - Rab Expedition 8000 Mitts

I live in Northern New York and I think I have solved every cold weather problem for myself except for cold fingers. I love to be outdoors and having recently retired, I plan on being outdoors more often. I have some Raynaud’s syndrome and I know mittens are a must, and I usually threw in some hand warmers and would be ok on the subzero days. I researched good expedition gloves and chose these for the features, reviews and brand reputation. I have used them about a dozen times in -10 to +10F weather in activities as active as cross country skiing and snowshoeing, and as inactive as snow blowing my house and a few of the neighbors (being outside for an hour and a half without generating much heat). The gloves have proven to be warm and I am glad I spent the money. As I will not be mountaineering, I anticipate they will last me for many years. I do believe they run large...I ordered a medium (I was between a medium and large by the chart) and it is roomy. I am glad I did not order a large. I would recommend these gloves for people who suffer with cold fingers...being warm all over makes any outdoor activity more enjoyable.
Pros:
warm
Cons:
Probably run large
Best Used for:
Very cold temperatures
Would Recommend:
Yes
