Versatile, durable, comfortable three-plus season pant! - Rab Fulcrum Pants - Mens

I've had a pair of Fulcrums since the spring and loved 'em. I've climbed rock in the Dolomites, taken them up Longs Peak (a 14'er in Rocky Mtn Nat Park), and climbed on chilly mornings in Eldorado Canyon. On a relatively warm winter day, I could imagine ice climbing in the sun, too. In short, they're comfortable, wind- and water-resistant, and cut just right so they don't get in the way of crampons or obscure the view of one's feet while climbing.

Almost all of my 30 or so days in the Fulcrum have been while guiding. If it's hot, I roll up the legs and they're as comfortable as shorts. Windy or chilly weather means I wear them with a medium-weight softshell. The boot cuffs pull down snugly over my red Trangos or Ganda Guides. If they only had a zip-open gusset...I'd wear 'em ski touring, too! I'll probably wear them Nordic skiing, come fall. They offer decent weather protection, without overheating. Love 'em.
