WN's Review of Rab Infinity G Jacket - Men's
To start, I bought this a few weeks ago and have found it to be awesome. While the fabric is extremely light and delicate, it requires some semblance of common sense in use.
Use this jacket with some form of wind breaker for protection from brush damage etc. It does resist wind penetration very well but is delicate.
With that aside, down leakage has been nearly nonexistent. Fit is slim but not restrictive for a beanpole. This is rare to find and usually requires a custom from PHD.
Fill weight is claimed 8.4 ounces of 850 fill power hydrophobic down. Doesn't seem as though that claim is accurate based on loft however, the overall fill leaves no voids or cold spots which is amazing for a sewn through design. Zippers are very well suited and have no issue with getting fabric caught in them if used carefully. Hood fitment... It fits well and does have adjustment with a velcro strip on the back. A draw string would have been nice for the times when you're not using a helmet and the breeze is in your face.
Water resistance is good at this point as light rain did bead and roll right off. Not too shabby!
