I have an affinity for layers. This RAB is the third down jacket in this weight in my quiver of outdoor wear. The color is exceptionally beautiful and the weight is perfect for those more extreme cold days as a supplemental layer for both resort days and backcountry days under my gortex shell parka. The fit is a bit generous, but completely flattering for my changing figure (age and gravity are not my friends).

Looking for a replacement for a NF liner that I wear constantly. Wanted gold to match my son's school colors. I have not worn outside yet but it is nice and lightweight for fall hikes and as a midlayer in cold weather. I would have given 5 stars but the size L was really roomy in the waist but perfect for long arms. The Medium fit great but was a little shorter arm length and less shoulder room. Kind of a big difference between the sizes.

I wanted a puffy jacket that would be warm while also being fitted to the body for rock climbing (super puffy jackets would stick out and rub on the rock) and winter hiking. The jacket feels warm as soon as I put it on, and I immediately hung it up and fluffed it out upon receiving. I love the pockets and hood. The fit is excellent. I am 5'10" and 130lbs for reference, and ordered the UK 8. The waist fits great and still has room for one thick layer or two thinner layers underneath. I was impressed that the arms were not too short on me. If I had to nitpick I'd say the shoulders could be wider but then again I am almost 6' tall. Overall the fit is flattering and not boxy like so many other puffy jackets for women, and the campsaver price was fantastic. It shipped quickly and arrived in excellent condition with stuff sack included.
I would note that the color looks a bit different online. Online it looked like a deep, forest green (to my eyes) and in person it is more of a dark teal (definitely greener than my bf's blue patagonia puffy) but bluer than expected. Still a gorgeous color and great find for active cold-weather activities.
If you want to be warm while not active I might recommend a more voluminous layer instead (or on top of this one as this one is more compact) for maximum warmth.

Great jacket. I liked mine so much, I bought one for my wife. Perfect fit - size guide is accurate. Nice details all over the jacket. Super warm for its size and the jacket performs really well in the rain. We have decided to retire our collection of Patagonia jackets and buy RAB.

I bought this jacket for my wife.
She wears every morning when she take a walk near house.
When winter comes, it will be her favorite jacket as town use as well as hiking use.
It is very light and warm.
I strongly recommend this.

Great jacket (love the raglan sleeves for range of motion) good weight and outside fabric is thick enough to not see feathers as is the case with lighter colors. Size 14 is a US L. Good fit, I’m 5’2” 156lbs...carrying weight thru midsection. However I ordered the firecracker and the color is great..not too blaze orange. Unfortunately it is not as pictured as mine has black zippers. Still deciding on whether to return as it kinda feels like I’m wearing a Halloween costume. Back ordered a Ruby colored one, waiting to see how that one compares in person.

I put this coat on in October and don't take it off until spring. I've had it two years and I'll buy another one as soon as this one is worn out. the best money I've ever spent. I'm always cold and this jacket is slim and keeps me warm and cozy all winter. When it is very cold and I'm skiing/sledding, I'll wear it under my ski jacket.

The fit, cut, and color were all great on this jacket. 5'6, 120 and I ordered a 10. My only complaint was that it was a little too lightweight for me. I felt the fill was less than expected and wouldn't be warm enough and so I returned it. Bummed because everything else about it was perfect.

I purchased this jacket for the ability to keep warm and also withstand the rigors of hiking with my very rowdy dogs. I has been great! Added benefits of flattering fit, zipper pockets and a hood that actually looks good when not in use or when in use. Love it!

I wanted a solid black down jacket, which I thought I was getting. I ordered the Black/seaglass color, but the image looked solid black. I believe it still does. Campsaver needs to get the correct product images, but this is still a fantastic jacket that I will be keeping, even though I wasn't thrilled with the seaglass color on the inside of the jacket and hood.
