Nice jacket - Rab Nebula Jacket - Men's

The Nebula by Rab is well made and well designed. I was looking for a warmer synthetic fill jacket that I could use all winter around town, after skiing and after kayaking. I wanted something that was warmer than the really light synthetic jackets (think Patagonia Nano-Puff, NF Thermoball) - and this jacket is definitely warmer (and a little heavier). One thing that makes it warmer is the fit - it is definitely not an extra roomy jacket. I am 6'2", about 205 lbs and the XL barely fits over three thin layers of clothing in the torso. But I do need to lose about 10 lbs anyway..... I really like the way the hood fits and that there are adjustments for it. The length is perfect and it fits my arms and shoulders very well. It is definitely an athletic fit. The pockets are huge and I did not want one of those chest pockets - which I find pretty useless. This is my second Rab jacket - I have a nice down Rab I use for backpacking. I am really happy with the jacket. I prefer a synthetic fill jacket for knocking around in - I feel like I don't have to be as careful with it as down. Great product.
