This is my second pair of this glove. My original pair is a little beat up but are still useful as a backup pair.
The best part of these gloves is how much dexterity you keep while providing a surprising amount of warmth. I am a professional landscape photographer, so I often find myself out in temps that would cause me trouble were I to remain glove-less while handling cameras. I use these gloves comfortably between the low 50s and the upper 20s (breezy conditions), and below that as a liner glove. They have the widest range of any glove I own, are far more durable than pure merino wool gloves with this dexterity, and work very well on touchscreens. I have used them on their own to about 20 degrees on a windless day; initially I'll be cold but once my body temp regulates to the level of activity I'm doing I'm good for hours. They have zero wind protection so be mindful of that, but the primaloft merino blend does a fantastic job of keeping you warm in all but the most gnarly conditions. I would not recommend them if you're doing a lot of scrambling on rough surfaces. The weave will get snagged. Considering the low price, these gloves are one of the best, most useful purchases in outdoor gear I've made in a long time. Highly Recommended.
