My new go-to packable windshell - Rab Windveil Jacket - Womens

I recently took this jacket out on a day trip hike up in the Eastern Sierras, and it performed excellent. Whereas I usually pack my rain jacket, it was nice to skip some of the weight of my heavier jackets. I am 5’2”, weigh about 112lb. and purchased the Small. It is perfect over just a base layer or even my Patagonia down jacket. The arms are too long but with the cuff having a more narrow elastic band, it works fine. I also ran the jacket under the sink right out of the package, and it flowed right off. No absorption. I had always been skeptical about super lightweight wind proof jackets, but apparently I have been missing out.
Pros:
packs small
Windproof
breathable
Water Resistant
Cons:
Arms too long
