If you are looking for a jacket that is light for travel or backpacking, then this one should work for you. Where it is light that also means it should be considered more of a mid layer and it is good in the wind. The jacket is not only true to my size (5'10" and 150 lbs., medium) it is exact. By that I mean the jacket feels slightly snug. I considered exchanging it for a Large, but I decided the fit is comfortable. It feels okay with a smart wool first layer but tight with a bulky sweater. Keep in mind what you intend to use it for.
