Surprisingly warm - Rab Xenon Gloves

Bought these on a whim based on the sale. Despite their light weight, these gloves are surprisingly warm and wind resistant. Persistent exposure to freezing temperatures WILL penetrate the Pertex Quantum shell and Primaloft Gold insulation, but it takes a while. These are light duty gloves best suited to hiking, walking the dog or anything else that doesn't require a lot of friction. You certainly wouldn't want to use them for snow skiing or the like. But, that's the trade-off for the light weight and relative thinness. Amazing dexterity. The only thing missing would be smartphone compatible finger tips, which is the only reason this gets four stars instead of five. If that's not an issue for you, then it's definitely a five star glove.
Pros:
Light weight
Warm and comfortable
Cons:
No capacitive touch
Best Used for:
Hiking & casual wear
Would Recommend:
Yes
