Beware of size - Salewa Wildfire GTX Mountaineering Shoes - Men's

I rated these approach shoes on past pair ( to which I would have given 5 Stars- I just didn't want say THESE SHOES were perfect) I love the light GTX, the anchor lacing system, and grippy soles. I orderded these to replace my 3 year old shoes whose lasts are finally breaking down. Sadly, I ordered the same size shoe. I went to put them on and they were woefully too narrow and tight- so I had to return them. ( I measure size 10, but in shoes with no wide options, I order 0.5 size up.) I am very happy with my old SWGMS. They have been the best approach shoes. I love that they are amazing on slick rocks and roots. The lacing system anchors the heel in place and reduces friction/blisters and gives a solid firm fit with no heel slips. I have been unable to find out if they are using a different last.
