Nickname J's Review of Scarpa Mojito Shoes - Men's

For comfort and stability in hot, arid climbing zones, invest in a quality pair of Scarpa approach shoes. They can take to abuse of hiking and backpacking over rough terrain while protecting your feet. I prefer the low-quarter approach shoes to higher hiking shoes that extend beyond the ankle primarily because they are cooler. This style laces snuggly around your feet from toe to instep. The sole is ever-so-slightly elevated in the arch and heal for improved balance when you are traversing upward on inclines, with the aggressiveness of the sole around the heal, which digs into loose soil, dirt or gravel when you are descending down a grade, for added stability and safety. Check out the photos on CampSaver's website for Scarpa footwear, which include views of each style's sole. Every footwear product includes instructions for proper care and cleaning to insure that you have years of quality use, durability and wear from your Scarpa shoes. I purchased this second pair of Scarpa Approach Shoes because that is all I wear when I hike and backpack. I like having a pair to wear during the day, while the second pair looks great with shorts, jeans and other casual wear in the evening when I'm not on the trail. Plus, they feel great on my feet. Don't forget to ask your CampSaver representative for discounts, deals and promotional codes. I've found CampSaver to be my first choice in outdoor products for service, warranty and price.
