I usually use my Supertrac 3s for trail running in Colorado. After hunting for several days in my Salomon hiking boots, I experienced very bad tendinitis in my ankle. I switched into my Supertrac 3s and the pain was instantly relived. I recommend this shoe for running and for hiking on the burliest terrain or for someone who is looking for extra traction and confidence in a shoe. Paired with a gator, this shoe offers very great confidence and protection on the most rugged trails.
