Down fill smell is concerning - Sea to Summit BaseCamp BC III Sleeping Bag 750 Down

I have used it once and the bag is warm; although the weather has not been really cold yet, I am hopeful that it will live up to the chill rating. I am; however, disappointed in the smell of the bag and am returning it because it simply reeks. I noticed the odd smell when I first opened the box but thought that it needed to air out and then after one use the smell is so much worse. It is as if the down was not cleaned or cured properly or the bag got damp at one point at the store and never dried properly. I am concerned of mold in the down and am returning it for an exchange.
