Perfect 3 seaon tent. - Sierra Designs Flash 2 FL Tent - 2 Person, 3 Season

After 42 years of camping and hiking I can honestly say that I've found my perfect tent! It's light and packs up nice and small and is easy to stow in my pack. It's really easy to set up (took me less than 5 mins first time) and take down - the all in one design is a revalation and is superb!
I'm six foot two inches and found the interior to be very roomy and the wide doors provide easy access.
The gear storage at either end easily accomodated my 65-85 litre backpack (after I'd removed and set up my sleeping system) and boots, and the internal access is very useful.
The real wonder of this design though is the openness. No longer when it rains do I have to sit sealed up and cut off from the outside world, with the wide awnings over the doors I can have the doors open and listen to the rain on canvas whilst still having a good view!
I've cooked in the rain under the awning too whilst my fellow campers have had to make do with muesli bars for breakfast!
I cannot emphasise enough how different this tent is in terms of how light and spacious it feels compared to almost every other tent I've seen. And it retains this in foul weather too - whereas many others only offer this in dry weather.
For my solo or partnered spring to autumn trips, this is my go to tent. Simply brilliant.
