The footprint attaches to the tent using Sierra Designs "Jake's Foot" system. This is really nice because it ensures that it remains directly under the tent, even if you move the tent. It also packs up and fits inside the tent's stuff sack.
I have only used it a few times, spent three nights down in Death Valley, there doesn't seem to be any signs of wear. I would highly recommend this for protect
