I think SD is kind of a new entrant into the Packs world, but they have created some really nice packs lately. I used the Ministry 40 for the '12-'13 winter season and I loved it. Great for ice climbing, skiing, winter hiking. It's just the right size. Has lots of thoughtful features. Great suspension system, very comfortable even when full of heavy ice gear. Customize-able.
