Stupid design using micro usb charging - SightMark Quick Detach Battery Pack

Rob's Review of SightMark Quick Detach Battery Pack
Really Sightmark?? The whole world of electronics has left the micro usb plug charger behind, but your new detachable battery pack uses it?? Engineered and designed in Texas?? By whom and in what year?? I have not had the pack long enough to evaluate the 10000 mah longevity claim but given the use of the old style port I do not have high hopes for performance or use. The old style port is a non starter for me when everything else has moved to USB C, including my Wraith Max 4K scope. I need two separate jumpers for charging my two new Sightmark devices, that is ridiculous!! The advertising Optics Planet promotes for this pack says it is for field use, but there is no waterproof or weatherproof (IP) rating for the pack, so assume it will not stand up to light rain, fog, dew, or any conditions encountering moisture.
Pros:
None I have found yet, quick detach feature is a nice idea but have not had the opportunity to test real world practicality.
Cons:
Micro USB charging port, no rating for water or weatherproof use,
Best Used for:
Not sure yet, maybe airsoft guns in an indoor range??
Would Recommend:
No
