Initially, felt like too much material in the toe box, causing discomfort when it "crinkled".After a few runs they felt great as a go-to for long runs. Trained in them religiously and retired them with a 2:45:16 PR at a cold, wet and windy Boston Marathon! They held up amazingly well no matter the conditions, and always gave me the support I needed, without too much weight.
