The weekender - Snow Peak BiPod Stove

This stove seems to be a good deal for the weekends on the trail. Folds very small so it packs well. The burner is sized just right for ""cooking". I say cooking because on those short weekenders you may want some nice things to eat other than trail food. The stove also simmers well. The weight is OK, I can the have the stove, canister and small Snow Peak Titanium cook set at about 18 OZ. carry weight. However, you will need a make shift wind screen. Lot of exposure to wind. Boils water OK.

Now for the negative things. It is not very fuel efficient. Burned one small canister on a weekend trip that on my other Snow Peak would last a week. So I wouldn't take this on a extended trip of week plus. And again, you will need a wind screen. This is why I only gave it 4 stars.
