Reading other reviews of this stove I was wary of the Automatic Igniter, and for good reason. It broke on the very first attempt. What a waste. The stove, itself lit well,with a match and the flame control was fine. I also purchased the windscreen. It is essential. One more thing. The gas canisters empty quickly. Two large ("90-Minute") canisters barely got two of us through a 5-day trip.
