RC's Review of Snow Peak Grill Plate Half Deep Depth

I have experience seasoning cast iron cookware, and used the same method on this grill plate. Unfortunately it developed a significant amount of rust on the cooking surface. I spent over an hour trying to scrub it off but there's still quite a bit left on it, enough to convince me to give up. I love SP products but this has been the poorest performing that I've experienced.
