Most Helpful Positive Review Great Set
I could not be happier with this purchase. It holds my 4oz fuel can, msr micro rocket(2012 stove), lighter and eating utensile, and still weighs less than my old cook set! I only use this to heat water for my dehydrated meals so the problem people mention about titanium burning is no issue for me. It cleans up in a breeze. The only MINOR flaw I found is that the lid is a little loose when put

Lightweight cookset

by Van P., Verified Owner from CA, United States Written on March 3, 2021
Snow Peak Mini Solo Titanium Cook Set is very lightweight and small packed cook set for minimalists. Volume of the cook set is just enough for quick meal in backcountry. I use several cook sets of Snow Peak and other brands but I like this one for its light weight and well design. Customer service of Campsaver is good

15 years and going strong!

by Born 2 Be Wild, from AL, United States Written on June 5, 2020
I've had this cook set for 15 years now, and I just love it! I've never had to replace it because titanium is, well, titanium. The 10 oz cup also doubles as a second cooking option when I'm doing meals that have more than one item to rehydrate, like gravy, or vegetables.
Pros:
  • Lightweight, durable,
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • Backpacking

Nice Compact solo set

by Izaak K., Verified Owner from WA, United States Written on May 15, 2016
Have only used once so far but have the bigger 1100ml pot and Ti bowl. I like nesting the cup in the pot when continuing heating of either tea or oatmeal and kind of having a small double boiler setup. This helps dehydrated meals and instant oatmeal get better cooked. I boil water mostly and warm dehydrated food and these work great for that. Don't try to saute with Ti on a burner...it will just burn stuff on. Only improvement would be if the handle parts were crimped tighter so they would stay positioned with some friction and not flop all over the place.

Great Light Cook Set

by Randall L., Verified Owner from CA, United States Written on April 10, 2016
This is a perfect cook set for a soloist that primarily boils water to rehydrate meals. In the mornings I like something warm to start the day. This set is perfect for a bowl of oatmeal and a cup of coffee. And it's quite compact with the added Snow Peak LiteMax Stove and 4oz fuel canister both fitting inside the pot. And you can use it over a fire which saves you on canister fuel and reduces the amount of fuel weight you might have to carry. A must item for a soloist looking to lighten the load! Buy it!

Haven't used it yet, but seems to be a great size. Fuel canister and Gigapower Lite Max fits perfectly inside.

Just what I was expecting

by Harding K., Written on February 11, 2016
I have researched this cook set for about a year now and had decided that I'd get it when I came up at a discount. Received it promptly and it is the size I needed as I have been carrying a cook set that is just too large for one person. Everything I need to group together with this set fits into the large pot...stove, soap, wash pad, stove lighter and more if I want, at nearly half the size as my other set. Haven't had a chance to actually use it in the field as yet but have tested it out on my stove to see how it balances and it will work fine. Also the mesh bag it comes with not only holds the cook set but also holds a medium sized fuel canister which seems to nest together with the set perfectly. The small canisters can fit in the large pot. I can update later after I've had a chance to actually use it.

Lightweight and super compact

by desmobob, Written on April 3, 2014
Super light, nests for compact storage. It's a nice set for minimalist trips; one pot w/lid to cook in or boil water in, and a cup for you coffee or tea (or bowl to eat from, depending on your needs).

Because of the small diameter of the pot, it doesn't work well with some stoves, like side-burner alcohol pop-can style stoves or some white gas stoves... the stove's flames go clear around the sid
