I bought this as emergency gear. My previous emergency bivvy got shredded in a tough overnight.
Aside from checking for flaws, I haven't use this bivy. That is sort of the nature of emergency gear. You really don't want to have to use it.
The SOL Thermo-Lite seems like it might hold up better, given the non-woven fabric design. The reflective surface will definitely make it warmer. One down
