I worked for 17 days on a glacier with blizzard conditions for 9 of those days. Temperatures ranged from upper single digits to 30F. The outer boot eventually got wet which means that it froze at night but I could put the inner boots in my sleeping bag. I only had nip one day when I forgot to do this but the rest of the time, I was comfortable. Both boots will get wet eventually but won't loose much warmth. Most shoes I wear are 11.5 and the 11.5 fit with room t for extra thick socks. These are great boots and I'll be taking them on other expeditions.
