I grew up in the harsh winters of northern MN and bought these boots for winter getaways in CO so I know what a good pair of boots look like. These are solid. I like that there's not a leather upper to get water logged with slush or melting snow. They're light, warm and built to take a beating. They look awesome and have very durable soles - much more than old Sorels I grew up with. I expect these will be boots I have for years.
