Haven't tried in rain or snow yet, but I'm glad they are waterproof. It's a very smooth black, which I was looking for as a work shoe. Boot is super comfortable and stylish for a city business/casual office and fits as expected. I have high instep and a little bit of a wide foot - for reference.
