He's kind of picky. Yes, even when it comes to a water bottle. They're never big enough or insulated enough. I was tired of him buying cheap ones that never lasted (then hearing him complain), so I bought it for him as part of his Father's day gift then gave it to him early b/c I was sure he'd find an issue and hate it and let's face it -- I wanted a heads up if I needed to return a $30 water bottle. He tested it by putting ice water in it then leaving it in the sun while he did yard work. The ice didn't melt. Now, he won't stop talking about his awesome thermos. I had to order a 2nd since he uses them for work. He didn't even care that these were $30 water bottles -- I was pretty sure h was going to comment about that.
My only real warning is that if you buy this and give it as a gift (even if a thermos is a weird gift) you will inevitably have to listen to the person go on and on about how this is the BEST water bottle ever made.
