I have been seeing this for the past couple years and the price was right to bite! Where I hike and camp there is always plenty of clear water so any filter is usually only for cleaning out the nasty bugs that might be there. I will still carry my lifestraw just in case but this item should lighten my pack by not needing my water filtration system I normally carry. Just make sure it is charged before a trip! This should last for a very long time!
