rain fly sits directly on the tent so no rain protection and definitely not 3 season with no real ability to insulate due to triangular shape. it was more comfortable than sleeping on the ground and i had myself 5-7, 125lb and boyfriend 5-10, 180lbs. its fun but until rainfly is made better and insulating pad is available, its more of a novelty. also instructions are hard to follow and vague. i still liked it and hoping to figure out how to rig the rainfly to actually keep rain out.
