Shannon's Review of Teva Sugarpine II Waterproof Boot - Women's
These hiking boots are exceptional! Just like other reviews said they felt great right out of the box and needed little to no breaking in. On my first wear I wore them walking the dog and running a short errand. On the second wear we hiked for 3 hours, 3ish miles, through some steep and muddy terrain as well as through the rain. My feet were warm and dry the whole time. And they are so light! When the box arrived I was shocked at how light it was! One thing to mention is that I am solidly a 7, every once in awhile a 7.5, and having summer shoes from Ahnu that are a 6.5 I felt confident ordering a 7. I have short toes so usually don't have trouble with toe beds that are too short. I will say that these are snug. They are comfortable with thinner socks, but to wear thicker ones I should've ordered a 7.5. So, I think, with hiking boots it's important to get enough toe room, and if you're in between definitely order a 1/2 size up. I may even order a 7.5 for wear in colder weather... but that seems like overkill... I just looooove these boots!
