I haven't heard of the American Mountain Co.; but, when I found out that they make it here in States, I gave it a go. The Schoeller WB-400 fabric is windproof, water-resistant and stretchy. It has a high collar, pit zippers, and elastic waist band. I like the double cuffs. The big zippers looks heavy-duty enough. It fits trim and tall sizing. I'm 6'0, 200 lbs; and XL fits perfect.
