Purchase of irregular thermrest luxury - Therm-a-Rest Luxury Map Sleeping Pad Irregular

I’ve owned many thermrest pads for many decades. I bought this for an indoor home application thinking the 3 inch luxury model would be the trick. Plus, it had one of their new designs of mapping. Maybe it was defective as it was an irregular. Yet, I thought it was not suppose to effect performance—cosmetic only? . Anyway, there is virtually no support in the hip waist area while the feet and head area has too much. Bottom line, the product doesn’t work, oddly uncomfortable; and, I’ll will be returning or exchanging. Not recommended.
