I replaced a much lighter sleep pad with this because the R factor is an important detail that is often overlooked, despite weight and compressed size Comfort is only part of the equation. While size and weight are considerations for the pack, anyone doing late fall or winter camping and backing need look no further for an affordable solution - make this part of your sleep system.
