I used this bag down to 45 degrees and was very comfortable. I was wearing a fleece jacket and had a hooded jacket just in case I needed it. I attached chord to the loops instead of using the velcro tabs because the velcro tabs would not stick to my nemo astro insulated sleeping pad. This worked very well to keep the bag in position. It may have not even have been necessary. The picket at the foot of the bag worked very well with my sleeping pad. Packs down smaller than any other traditional synthetic mummy bag I have.
