Most Helpful Positive Review Nice Hat
I already have the regular Tilly hat. My wife wanted one too, but we decided to try this more ventilated style, so we wouldn't look like the Bobsey Twins. So far, so good. Does seem more ventilated, but does let water through, so not a rain hat. Wife would have appreciated other color options in this style, but looks like we're going to keep it.

Tilly hats, proved the best.

This was my 3rd Tully hat purchase with the last decade. Still have my original in beautiful shape & believe me I’ve put it through the rigors of outdoor life. Purchased two others, one with a wider brim, one for another location. They back the lifetime warranty but I doubt you’re ever going to use it.

Great Hat for Shade

This is my third Tilley hat, it is replacing one of an earlier version of the same model. I wore the previous hat regularly for hiking, birding, canoeing, and just general running around from 2008 until 2020. These hats hold up extremely well and are quite functional and handsome. The new one is made of Supplex nylon where my previous one was cotton. The new one is noticeably lighter weight and probably cooler since nylon wicks away moisture and lets it evaporate better than cotton. I'm guessing that it will also be easier to keep clean. Over the years I've received many complements on the great looking hat. The new one is very comfortable and stays on my head even in strong breeze. If you adjust the wind cord as described in the owners manual and pull the back of the cord below of your head, the hat will stay on even in a fairly strong breeze.

Can't Go Wrong with Tilley!

Got a Tilley LTM8 and it's as nice as I expected it to be. Well made and looks great (even on me, IMHO, lol). Easy ordering and quick shipping. All in all, a very easy and satisfying ordering experience.

A much better version of a superb classic - when you live in hot weather areas

I've been wearing Tilley happs for over three decades; they've been everywhere with me from Asia, Africa, Australia, Europe and finally to America. They been up and down mountains and seen amaxing views.

As I now live int the US permanently I was finding my old classic a little warm.

I discovered thismodel here; it has a nice wide brim to protect me from the worst of the sun and the venting works brillantly as long as there is even some wind.

This is a great hat that will last you a lifetime!

Ordered hat, then advised it would take 17-21 days. It was not going to arrive in time for Christmas. Delivery was made 3 days before Christmas. Was very surprised & glad the Tilley hat arrived on time. Price was right. Ordering was very easy. Customer service was polite & helpful.

Everything was perfect, except that

Everything was perfect, except that I didn't receive a brochure inside the hat explaining how to care and wear the hat. Other Tilley hats had brochure inside in the pocket.

Best sun hat

Live in sunny Arizona + bald + very active outdoors = I've tried every sun hat out there. This is the best so far, including other Tilley models. It has a comfortable head band, breathes well, gives good sun coverage, and looks good to boot. Bottom line: buy this one!

Perfect. Timeless. Comfortable.

The hat is perfect, timeless in style and comfortable for my husband to wear. He did not want a hat but I told him I did not want his bald head exposed to the sun daily so he relented.. He looks so handsome!
