Bill's Review of Trangia Spirit Stove Cookset

While the Spirit Stove is easy to light and works extremely well as an alcohol stove, the base and cook set are fairly large and heavy, so not suitable for backpacking. If you are driving to your camp site, these would be great, but much too large for anything but a short backpack trip.

This review was written in the old system and had content requirements that are different than reviews written today.
