Scott jurek fkt vest - Ultimate Direction Jurek FKT Vest

I bought this to serve as a higher capacity alternative to my Nathan vapor air (sz S/M for which I absolutely love). I purchased the size small based on the size chart as well as discussing with sales staff. Supposedly the pack runs slightly large. My measurements- 6ft tall, 150lbs, very fit runner build, 39in chest, 33in bottom of ribs. I had two major issues with the pack- 1. The pack was way too small for my build. I realize it should be snug, even very snug, and that is how I like running vests to fit but I can barely get this on and it is effectively unusable. 2. The volume is 11+ liters but it is made up of lots of little pockets and such making bringing along extra layers (light fleece and /or ultralight puffy) for winter running adventures (the reason I purchased it). The pack itself did appear to be well made and was good looking to boot and may work out well if it meets your particular need as far as fit and storage arrangement go. I did also try the Nathan vapor cloud in size S/M (same as my vapor air) and although the fit was good it was relatively heavy and suffered from the same storage concerns, lots of small storage space. Nathan Vapor Air is my current favorite running pack for three season and my hunt continues for a winter/cold running adventure pack when additional bulkier layers are needed.
