I hike all day around my campus and these feel comfortable. I don't hike in the woods but I walk lots and climb stairs, while stand for hours on end. It's been 2 weeks and they feel good on my feet. I own another Vasque pair (Mantra 2) for over a year and it's my favorite boots.
