saturndreamer's Review of Vasque Pow Pow III UltraDry Winter Boot - Women's
When you are into active sports, it becomes harder to find good footwear that will be okay both in city and in nature. Before buying boots, I wanted them to be warm and to fix the feet well. So I ordered these boots. When I first went out in them, it was a little uncomfortable that the boots are that high (I wore only short trekking zamberlan boots before), but the next day I got used to it. With the foot length of 24 cm, 8 US size really fits me (I can put on warm trekking socks and there will be some space).
During leisurely walks at -20 °C feet are not freezing, unlike other parts of the body. Snow doesn't stick to the sole nor to the textile parts. On a skating rink it won't slide at all.
Pros:
Light
warm
Keep you dry
Do not slide
Snow does not stick to
Cons:
None
Best Used for:
Winter
Would Recommend:
Yes
