Comfy, but a pita! - Vivobarefoot Esc Tempest Trailrunning Shoes - Women's

This is my first pair of barefoot shoes. I have, wide/medium width feet and can usually fit standard width shoes (B) without issue. I typically wear a EU39 and purchased that size in these shoes; lengthwise, they fit perfectly. The sole feels comfortable in every way, but the upper is VERY tight. I can not get my feet into them with the insoles inside; I doubt I'll be able to wear them with socks. They are a struggle to pull on, so I suggest stretching beforehand. Once on, they are so comfy that I forget I'm wearing them. I've only had a light jog in them so far, but I look forward to putting them to good use.
