Rick's Review of Voile Vector Ski

These are my most often go to skis for variable, crust or soft snow and especially powder conditions where only my Charger's or Drifter's may exceed Vector's in the deepest softest POW. These skis are fantastically responsive and float and energize my interaction with variable terrain. They are light and snappy flexed for a great feel. The BC version is fantastic for getting into the back or side country where there may be ups and downs mixed in or a longer low angle approach where skins may not be needed but are brought along for the steeper ascents. The waxless pattern hardly detracts from glide in powder conditions, yet gives reasonable if not better than average traction for various snow conditions. The rugged construction holds up well and take abuse and these skis will handle difficult snow/ ice. I am skiing telemark with Switchback bindings mounted "boot center" to 3/4" ahead of that...
