Big upgrade - Vortex OPMOD Diamondback HD 10x42mm Roof Prism Binoculars

A friend put a pair of Vortex binocs n my hands several weeks ago, and I was shocked at the quality for the $. They were ones a step up from these.
On a whim, I decided that maybe 40 years was a good enough run for my trusty old Nikons, and grabbed a pair of the Crossfire 10x42 to use for a weekend of Wilco up at Solid Sound in Mass.
They were nice, and confirmed that the size was fine (for me ~ ymmv) to carry around in a pack for a day of music festival. But in the end they were a distant 22nd from the versions my buddy showed me.
Then I found this sight, and their price on these Diamondbacks. WOW! They're way less than everyone, and even less than what I paid for the Crossfires!
And the upgrade in optics from the Crossfires to these is dramatic, obvious, vast, etc...
Night and Day.
These Are edging towards the high end model I tried that first got me down this path.
Well worth the bump up in the lineup,
And Very Well worth finally replacing my old war horses...
