JR's Review of Yakima LoadWarrior 18in Cargo Basket
I struggled with whether I should give this item a 4 or 5 star rating. The item itself is fine. It's just another piece to add on to the Loadwarrior. It's well designed and fits perfectly. The problem I encountered, and apparently others have as well, is that some of the existing bolts on the Loadwarrior tend to get rusted, and they are next to impossible to remove. I had to use a hacksaw to remove one of the bolts; which ultimately led to having to drill through both sides of the pipe and use a bolt and nut combo to secure that area. My suggestion to anyone contemplating buying this extension, is to FIRST try to take apart the Loadwarrior to see if you have any rusted bolts. If you do, then you'll have to engineer your own way to attach the section with the rusted bolts. Otherwise, it should be a breeze to install.
Pros:
Fits perfectly, adds more carrying space
Cons:
Rusted screws on Loadwarrior
Would Recommend:
Yes
