I haven't used this item yet, but what I see so far, the material is a very thin plastic. It looks like it could puncture easy, but I haven't filled it yet. The handle would not be very comfortable for carrying any distance.

This water carrier is awesome! Especially for the price. I am confident that it wont bust of spill in my bag. The only other water carrier that I would say is better is the MSR Dromedary, but costs almost 10x as much. Other than that, this is a great bag, and a great value. My friends are jealous of it.
